i am a layman

relative to the folks on this site atleast

although i have a strong interest in psychoactive compounds ( predominately tryptamines)  and have been studying various entheogens    dmt being one of them

recently, brewing my own ayahuasca  and preparing my own cebil snuffs has gotten me more interested in other extractions or preparations of tryptamines

i have been realizing i need a stronger background of chemical knowledge to do such things so i was wondering if the seemingly brilliant community here would be able to help me out by giving me some pointers about what background knowledge i will need and maybe a list of common solvents, lab equipment, etc that i should familiarize myself with

this is my first post so i hope i didn't make an ass of myself

Welcome to the DMT-Nexus Wiki

This is a DMT-Nexus wide collaboration to provide information about DMT and other entheogens. This collaboration is open-ended, all-inclusive and open to revisions.

The focus of this information should be about DMT with some reference to its allies.
