  • 6" Pyrex glass tubes
  • Pliers with insulated Handles
  • Flame retardant gloves
  • full-coverage safety goggles
  • workroom with VERY good ventilation


Step 1

Put on goggles and gloves, then light your torch.

Step 2

Hold one glass tube with pliers and fuse one end closed by slowly rotating it around in the inner bright-blue apex of the torch flame. Be sure the flame is directed away from your body, and hold the tube end at an acute 45 degree angle in relation to the angle of the flame.
