Common abbreviations and acronyms used in discussion of DMT extraction & preparation. Feel free to add but please keep on topic to DMT-related. See Hyperspace_lexicon for language used in describing the pyschadelic experience. See this for common online chat & internet acronyms.

Abbreviation Meaning Notes
ACRB Acacia confusa root bark can contain relatively high amounts of DMT like MHRB
DMT Dimethyltryptamine
GC-MS Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry used to identify different substances within a sample
kg Kilogram Metric measurement for mass
L or l Liter Metric measurement for volume
MAOI Monoamine oxidase inhibitor
mg Miligram Metric measurement of mass; less often used for "morning glory" flowering vines
MHRB Mimosa hostilis root bark
mM Millimolar Measurement of chemical concentration, see metric prefixes& moles
mmol Millimoles Measurement of chemical concentration, see metric prefixes& moles
nM Nanomolar Measurement of chemical concentration, see metric prefixes& moles
nmol Nanomoles Measurement of chemical concentration, see metric prefixes& moles
NMT N-Methyltryptamine
PC pressure canner or "politically correct", "personal computer", "pineal cancer", "predominant cultivar"
RIMA Reversible Inhibitor of Monoamine Oxidase A
SD Salvia divinorum
SSRI Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor
Tek technique less often used to mean "traditional ecological knowledge"
TLC Thin Layer Chromatography used for chemical analysis
ug Microgram Metric measurement of mass, 10^-6 grams
uM Micromolar Measurement of chemical concentration, see metric prefixes & moles
umol Micromoles Measurement of chemical concentration, see metric prefixes & moles
