My recipe is to use 15ml and 1gr Sodium Hydroxide per gram of powdered MHRB. I first started with adding the Sodium Hydroxide to tap water in a glass container. Next i added the powered MHRB. After gaving it a well stirr for a few minutes, i let the solution sit down over the night. Next morning i opened up the glass container and stirred it again. I set up a cooking pot on the kichten stove, filled with water and a ceramic bowl on the bottom to prevent the glass container from touching the hot bottom of the cooking pot.

When the water was hot, i opened up the glass container once again to stirr. There i saw that the solution i prepared was suddenly much, much thicker. Actually so thick it was a syrup-like substance. This didnt happen at earlier extractions, using the exact same method. After i saw the solution had thickened i still put it into the hot water and let it be for about half an hour.

After the solution was hot bathed in the cooking pot, i added 75ml of naphtha while stirring this still hot substance. When i turned the pot over, to let the naptha reach the basified solution at the bottom, the glass container cracked its bottom out by pressure from the inside. I just basified fresh MHRB, did no pulls from it just yet so i just put a plastic foil over the broken glass container, to prevent the just added naphtha to evaporate till i have a new glass container.

It's good to see other people besides amor_fati and me working on the Wiki. Some extra markup for the headings is needed but the main load has been done, thank you for your hard work. --TheTraveler 22:23, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Lazyman's Tek solution thickness

As a newbie in dmt extraction i searched the forum for answers to my problem, but didn't find any.

So i followed the lazymans extraction tek, wich gave me a few succeeded pulls already. I heared adding heat to the process will help to get higher yields.

--> Does anyone know how/why the basified solution suddenly became much thicker? I believe 80gr MHRB, 75gr lye over 1,2litres of water wouldnt make it this syrup-like.

--> Does heating the solution(=MHRB,sodium hyroxide, water), make it more easy for the MHRB to be broken down by the basified solution? --> Does heating the solution, with naphtha added, make more plant fats extract?(=cause that the spice turns a more yellowish color) --> Is it helpfull at all that i heat the solution 2 times? once to basify the root bark, once when i added the naphtha before each pull.

I a new to the forum, i would like to contribute with my findings and faults. Maybe somone can help me? Thanks a lot guys :)
