These activities feed us because for brief moments our hopes exceed our “sobriety” and these internal worlds we create become “reality” no matter the external doubts of others.

We as adults must believe in these windmills just as we must believe in showing up on time, and paying taxes; whilst meanwhile, our younger selves are free to chase dragons. BUT we must be careful that our responsible adult ways don’t error in reverse and we mistake the truly fantastic for an ordinary and convenient excuse.
